I've been out of the loop for many years and was wondering if there were places I could go to discuss the same sorts of things (army lists) etc which I used to be able to discuss here?

Yep, we're actually still decently alive and kicking 
The forum gets some decent traffic, so feel free to discuss army lists and tactics and anything else WH related.
There's also a Facebook group called Warhammer Armies High Elves which has some of the same mods as here if that's more your thing.

Absolutely agree with everyone above — great to see the old community still holding strong!
Also wanted to mention, if anyone here’s working on High Elf-themed conversions, or maybe looking into custom models or terrain for their armies, I’ve seen a few niche groups and platforms recently supporting that side of the hobby really well. Happy to share if there’s interest.
And yes, nothing beats the elegance of the Old World High Elves. Glad to be back among fellow Asur enthusiasts.
