Let us know what the next model you're getting is going to be. I always enjoy putting together some of the bigger kits. And you keep finding some great alternative models.
Well, for the Merwyrm I will likely go with this model:

As for the Phoenix, this model currently the most likely:

For the first one, I would still need to find a printing service in Germany or the EU, however.

Edit: this model might also make a good basis for a Storm Weaver on unicorn if one aims for a more beastly look: https://titan-forge.com/dragon-empire/1 ... kirin.html

The Merwyrm one is nice, especially if you want to stick to a dragon theme. Though I actually like that the GW one is very different. It really is its own thing, not just a wet dragon. I've had a look around for printing services, and at least here in the Netherlands, there seems to be a fair few of them around. Though maybe that's just a location bias that comes with living in a larger city...

The phoenix is great, though it does look a bit flimsy. Not that different from some of the recent GW models, but I would be afraid of it snapping off or falling over mid-game. And the Storm Weaver one is indeed very beastly. It would actually look pretty good in a Cathay army as well. For a HE army, I think you're looking at a head-swap for the rider. Or at least, I would.
For Nagarythe: Come to the dark side.

I can completely understand liking the GW model, I do so too. But I feel that the price is a bit too steep and that a different model would also help to reinforce a different visual impression for my colony army.
Since I actually live in a very large city in Germany as well, your experience does give me hope for finding a local service.

Definitely, I would have to swap the rider. But that is an easy change to make, luckily.
