As always great work, your army is fantastic :) I really like how the swordmaster sculpts are strong, beefy elves instead of the typical scrawny elves.
Excited for TOW

Thank you! I agree, I like the aggressiveness of these sculpts too, and they are really easy to paint.

They really seem to come together quickly! Good work. I also like the more bulky feel these have compared to GW Swordmasters.

Yes, with so much of the prep work done with an airbrush and drybrush, the brush work is short and sweet.

Really liking how these are turning out so far. The cloaks add a lot of room to balance the primarily white and solve models.

First finished model of 2025, I love how hot spots make the NMM pop, but I hate painting them haha. Just hundreds of dabs per model in white.

Luckily I found a Golden brand that has nice flow, was painful when the paint would dry ever 3-4 spots.

The result speaks for itself, though. It's a splendid looking miniature!

It's a pipe dream of mine that GW will remake the Swordmasters into a kit that has some more dynamic posing like these. Your army is looking fantastic, can't wait to see it all arrayed on the field of battle once you have every single unit painted up. An auspicious start to the new year.

It was truly a fortuitous find, this range is great. Have they remade any units save characters? Maybe if they reboot 2.0?

Thank you very much. I’m actually pretty close. I have 40 Seaguard, 5 Reavers, and the finishing touches on 9 DPs left. I think I’m about 50 percent painted, with a lot of what’s not finished prepped to semi completed.

They released the unit of Bretonnian knights on foot. But since that unit did not exist before, I am not sure if that really counts.

Yah that’s probably it. Is there anything in the HE range that doesn’t have a model?
