Even with just the basecoat they already have the desert feel of your army. They look pretty bad-ass.

That's a great looking, very dynamic unit. And it should fit in wonderfully with the rest of the army.

shrine and Stoneguard done!
20 Sentinals left to go then all cleared. Want to get some decent pics when finished as mine are not great lol
I also added as thin coat of blue to all the stoneguard to break up the colour a bit from the armour

So beautiful!wamphyri101 wrote:shrine and Stoneguard done!
i also got the shrine a few days ago. i like it so much, i got two of them, because i wanna build one for my khorne daemons, with kinda khorne-shrine on top and a bloody waterfall... this is going to be a mess!
The Stoneguard´s heads are from the Highelf Shadow Warriors, right?
Caledor for life!

I love seeing some of the alternative shrines being done, they are really cool looking when all "evil"
Yeah just white lion shoulders and then shadow warrior heads. Pretty easy switch but I like a lot more

I love the shrine. It matches the army really well and the Lions as an addition to the base are great. They really bing the otherwise bit bland base to life I think.
The blue on the Stoneguard works wonderful. It really does break up the colors a bit and makes them more interesting visually.

It's an amazing looking army. They look very stoic and elven and I like how it feels like the army is built around blocks of spears and archers. Do you have any plans to add to it, or is this it for the moment (given the current ruleset)?

Re: Wamphyri101's Lumineth Realm Lords - Lions of Lumineth
LOL!
Thats Robs gaming room lol. I will share this with him lol
It was funny as I dont have the latest LRL book as I dont play them really. I didnt note that all my units were actually battle line, and that would have totally changed the game. Oh well!
now for every unit of wardens, 1 unit of sentinals or dawnriders can be battleline
one unit of Bladelords can be battleline per scanri hero
Ymertica makes Stoneguard battleline (which I did know)
Anyway, was just for fun as his channels more about just playing games than competitive play

I first noticed this GW tendency when the original Harlequins turned up, one of them totally festooned with skulls. I'm not sure it's become any less of a thing over time...wamphyri101 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 4:37 pm Thats Robs gaming room lol. I will share this with him lol

A few of the terrain pieces GW put out felt like "we've got a skull mansion on top of a skull moutain, with skulls as decoration". GW every now and then goes overboard with the skulls I feel...SpellArcher wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 8:03 pmI first noticed this GW tendency when the original Harlequins turned up, one of them totally festooned with skulls.
