Eagle Claws - Repeater Bolt Throwers

#1 Post by Silver »

Certainly, long gone are the days when these would strike fear in the enemy.
Still, many of us had at least a pair of them or maybe even more, especially those from the Storm of Chaos era!
Show your assembly, your painting, your WIP, give your tips and techniques.

The two I had made before selling off my high elves ages ago

One metal, one plastic (the bottome one)
Still happy with how the lacquered wood effect turned out

My boltthrower.
The wood looks a little too much like plastic to me, but if anyone's interrested its Desert Yellow with a Kommando Khaki highlight. The rock is a chuck of bark glued to a 50x50 mm base and painted/dryrushed grey.
