I felt inspired by the US master winner to try some unusually lord builds. What do you guys think of this idea. Seems like it could be pretty awesome.
Prince (Drakova) 260
-dragon armor
-Sword of Bloodshed
-Shield of Merwym
-Luckstone
-Potion of Strength
Level 4 Shadow Mage
-BoH
-ToP
*after the turn PG get charged and PoS is gone give the prince shadow buffs*
Level 2 High Mage
-Dispellscroll
-Fury of Khaine Ring
*goes with PG to get them ward*
Block of PG w/ razor making the lord pretty damn deadly on the turn they get charged.....?
bad idea ??? worth trying? thoughts, im just brain storming here.

Why do you choose dragon armor over heavy armor here?

simply for the ward against flamming attacks that might happen some day. Also in case I dont get parry save I still get 6 up. Not so far out of realm of possibility.

Would you even get the parry save with a magic weapon and magic shield?

I feel an anointed is a much better fit for the role of infantry character.
He comes with a built 4++ ward, ITP as well as giving his unit MR(2) and a 6++.

Armour of Silvered Steel, Crown of Command, Potion of Strength in a big unit of armour piercing Pheonix Guard - tasty if a bit expensive. Pity about the Ld 9. 3 attacks I can live with.

In this instance I might actually be tempted to leave the razor at home and instead take the LD banner in order to boost him to 10LD.RE.Lee wrote:Armour of Silvered Steel, Crown of Command, Potion of Strength in a big unit of armour piercing Pheonix Guard - tasty if a bit expensive. Also, you can't put the CoC and the PoS on the same character, both are enchanted items .
