New Book -- What Playstyles (new army blog summary)?

A very popular sticky, by way of views, is the post we created some time ago under our last book which linked to some of the best blogs on this site to help beginners learn how to find different kinds of HE styles played by experienced generals. As our book has undergone a major change, I feel it is time to unsticky the old topic, and let a new one take its place. As such, I would like you all to suggest 8th edition army blogs in this thread. I will make a selection and compile a new topic, much like the old one, based on the feedback.

Please note! If you are linking blogs that stretch across multiple editions of our book, I ask that you find the post, or at least page, where the 8th ed. stuff starts so that new forum members don't have to go through hundreds of posts of 7th ed. discussions, reports and analysis.

I have found Malossar Dragonborne's Blog highly interesting. Same goes for Adasi's youtubed Battle Reports. Adasi is pretty consistent with his list, but there is lot to be learned from his style of play if you are new to HE or to the game.

Swordmaster of Hoeth's blog is good too. It's not my style of army, but I know it's appealing to a lot of players, and he seems to have some success with his MSU list.

He hasn't been posting too many updates but Tethlis has done an excellent job documenting Shadow Magic, Phoenix Guard and a beefy shooting phase in the battle report section.

@Malossar Dragonborne: Tethlis, eh? He's always been a pretty serious player, IIRC. D'you know if anyone has bothered to post a proper evaluation of the new HE units yet, e.g. Flamespire Phoenix, and the new airborne chariot?

Thanks for the shout out Vindicare. I've re "tweaked" (the eternal struggle!) my Silver Helm list for the next tournament i'm attending and reckon i may have had that "Eureka" moment...my High Elves "Epiphany"!

Thats the link to the start of my 8th ed. stuff. I'm hoping to be a bit more active in playing games in the coming weeks/months than I have been of late. I'm in the Star Dragon category also at the moment if you feel its worth adding to the list. I'll also update my magic item guide with the new ones next time I get a break from work/life.

I truly enjoy your reports - especially your red shoes and your comment about 17.24 into your last report , I know that is a sad realization, but it was fucking hilarious to hear you making that post-game while you were doing the audio.
