I have a doubles tournament coming up. My roommate is fielding a melee skaven army consisting of a lvl plaguepriest on a furnace pushed by a host of plague monks, queek headtaker with a host of upgraded stormvermin, a doomflayer with it, and a doomwheel.
This is my army to compliment his.
Lvl 4 archmage with silver wand, folariath’s robe, talisman of saphery – lore of life
Lvl 1 dragonmage with jewel of dusk and warrior bane
25 LSG with FC, shields, banner of arcane protection
5 dragon princes with FC, banner or sorcery
5 reavers with muse, bows only
1 great eagle
I customed a dragon model, and will be the centerpiece of my army (or else it be rather silly to take a dragon at this point level). LSG will be my lifemage’s bunker staying behind queek’s unit so I can benefit from his bsb and be in decent range to cast all the life buffs. These units will be in the center with the furnace unit to one side, flayer to protect the other flank, DP’s to flank attack, doomwheel doing its thaang, and reavers and eagle doing what they do best.
