I just finished recruiting my first army and am wondering how good it would be for learning the game.
Since I'm going to be playing on the WFO (Warhammer Fantasy battle Online) models aren't a problem so all suggestions will be welcome

Re: 7th Edition 500 Point High Elf Starting Army...
Welcome to the board!
First thing that strikes me is the noble only has a 5+ save. Give him armor of Caledor for better protection. The other 25 points can be spent on whatever you wish, but he needs protection.
The spear and lsg units are a little small. I would combine them into 20 lsg, for roughly the same cost. If you have spare points add a rare choice, at these points an eagle is better than a rbt.
As for learning the game, this should be a nice army to start with. Try swapping the noble for a mage, and the chariot for some cavalry to try some different things.
Also, what is WFBO? Like normal fantasy but online? If so, have you a link?
