Thanks!

I have also given new shields to my 15 sword and shield warriors.
Their backstory is that they are a mercenary regiment often working in Tilea but that returns when Cothique or Ulthuan needs them.
They hail from allover Ulthuan and therefore the members tend to have a shield design that hints at their native province.
Their leader is a younger relative of Prince Ramesesis.

They're coming along nicely. Some nice inspiration for my own SH.

They're looking lovely. Are you planning to leave the bases as-is or do you want to add some flock or something like that to them?

I have not decided yet. I imagine my army as advancing across a sandy beach making an amphibious landing or counter-attacking an enemy landing.

Then the bases definitely fit. That description also reminds me of some cool bases with water effects I've seen. You can do lots of fun thing with beaches.

I kitbashed a unit of "count as" Shadow warriors. I lack a recon and skirmish element in my army.

They look great. Normally I'm not a big fan of the closed helmets. I think they look silly. But they work here with the modifications you've made I think. Looking forward to seeing them painted.

My Silver helms got new shields and are now 10 strong on their own. I am working on a new standard bearer too but that banner will take some time.

Yesterday I tried to kitbash a new Loremaster from a metal swordmaster standard bearer. The standard pole had broke so I decided to try and make something out of him. I went with trying to make his broken banner pole somekind of magical item.

It works. I like him. He's clearly a Swordmaster and still also clearly different. He'll make a fine Loremaster.

I like the loremaster character. I think he's amazing at lower points games, where he gives you a flexibility that's pretty much unmatched. And he makes a great back-up caster at higher points values. I do think he's more a spell caster than a combat character, though he can fight well enough to not have to worry about getting in combat with regular rank and file models. Though, you could kit him out with plenty of magic items to make him a great combat character.

What equipment do you plan on giving him?

I have not decided on a loadout yet. Using WAP I lean towards a magical staff, for example the Starwood staff, Guardian Phoenix and Crown of Command. Then heavy armour and great weapon.

He will probably stand with my Spear regiment so having them Stubborn is useful.
My BSB would camp with my Phoenix guard who carries Banner of Defiance for more stubborness

Loremasters are some of my favorite characters, and that's a damn fine conversion!

My "Shadow warriors" or "Cothique rangers" are at least ready for the table top. The units name is The Seven sisters" and hopefully they will add more flexibla firepower and war machine hunting.

Work is progressing with the loremaster and there is also a heroine with a bow. She will wield the reaver bow and probably lead my Sisters of Avelorn.

Nice work! Good conversions and bold colour scheme. Always great to see such love for Cothique.
