I do not have much time right now, so the updates will be slower. But you can do just well without me.
Well played by the way, Ele!

Slower updates are good. I seem to have some catching up to do. Should be back soon though.

Having experienced those wolves twice now, I thought it best to make the shadows more pretty ladies ^_^

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
I'm going to be honest, I'm having a very hard time finding what I need to follow to join back in. If someone can sum up what I need that would be great, or as it seems it might be wrapping up maybe I can join back in the next meeting.
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
No problem to join in now, Shannar. There has been an attack on your ship near the isles surrounding Temple of Asuryan. Harpies it seems. There is another ship under attack nearby. It is night. You are just rolling on the ground because Coradon tried to save you from an attack. Altatar was hurt and emulated a Dragon mage but now seems to come out of his frenzy... Just read TSD's last post and add whatever you think will fit the story.

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Some notes for those heading towards Ar Yvrellion:
On arrival by sea, you'll come across a sea wall, there are eagle claw emplacements spread along the wall, so not only does it protect the harbour for the fierce storms, but enemies too.
At the sea end of the wall is a tall light tower, the wall curves gently until it reaches the cliffs upon which the Castle is built.
The Castle on top of the cliffs isn't big, the bulk of it is built into the cliff face. Windows and balconies can bee seen carved into the cliff.
Once in the harbour you can see the small town, it'll be bustling and crowded, over the last year it's expanded thanks to gaining one of the navy contracts for maintenance of the southern fleet.
While Elessehta isn't there the town is governed by his Uncle, Evelo Oh'tarelen, who is an old sea dog, with a bitter edge.

Thanks, Ele. We'll see if they manage to get in. Alcaran should get on well with Elessehta's uncle.

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Starting in about a week I will have internet access only rarely (and for short bits of time) for about 3 months- maybe longer. Just thought I would let people know ahead of time rather then just disappearing.
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Thanks, Shannar. Will you get to write an entry before that? I think it would be good before Shannar returns to his duties away from Ulthuan for a time.
Edit: I'll continue with the story tomorrow, but there are still some people who could add their own part...

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
I should be able to write something tonight or tomorrow.
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Looking forward to it. I am too tired to write coherently so I'll get some sleep first - that usually helps.
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
With the new book being released do you guys mind if I edit my profile from Archmage to Loremaster, it fits my character much better?

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Laicamir, of course you can. We do not have character lists so it really doesn't matter too much, game-wise. I may need to use some stats at some point though so I'll bear it in mind.
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Awesome, he has still forsaken armour due to his age though.

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Woah, I just realised I haven't been here for an age, damn real life taking over... I'll get something up by the end of tonight hopefully

Besides, the battle of Finuval Plain was more a minor skirmish anyway. A good enough summary would have been "Teclis and Malekith ran into each other. Teclis cast The Dwellers Below on Malekith with IF, and Malekith failed his Strength test." Not much more to it then that really.[/quote]

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
On second thought and after reading the book some more I might change him back to being an Archmage, I am really really really really sorry, I get very confused with things like this.
I never managed to work out whether I preferred Wizards or Sorcerer
Edit: While editing it I added the rest of the backstory that I mentioned ages ago.

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Aicanor: I noticed your last update didn't include an update on Anaril's side of things. Should I assume he gets to his destination without incident and pick up from there?
Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
I believe I did include Anaril's story as first entry in my last post. But I can elaborate.
Edit: Lormaster is supposed to be a real loremaster of say magic branch of herbology who didn't bother too much with combat spells and learned only the basic ones. But being a Loremaster, he knows them all. Add same "basic" self defense and it is quite good "mad scientist" type of RP character. Heheh.

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Greetings! with my return to the site I was wondering how this little old topic was getting on. Seems like its taken off a little.
Is there any room for myself in the proceedings?

Re: Court of the Phoenix king idea?
Of course there is room. Please look at the initial post of the other Court thread and post fluff for your character here - I'll add it and then we'll see how to get you involved.Mentheus of Caledor wrote:Greetings! with my return to the site I was wondering how this little old topic was getting on. @All - Real life got in the way, but I hope to add something to the story today.
