Re: [6th Edition]
Makes sense. I remember pros and cons to running 16’s in 6th. They could be a bit fragile and of course being outnumbered (particularly vs Fear-causers) was a real issue. More units though! You're of course right about these weaknesses! I was trying to cram as many infantry blocks as possible so I ...

Re: [6th Edition]
It sounds a bit wild elendor! I like your deployment option best. Do you generally run 16’s of Spears instead of 20’s? It was definitely not a standard battle! Regarding the two units of 16 Spears, I thought of using the fact that in 6th edition the combat bonus from ranks only requires ranks...

Re: [6th Edition]
Long time no see! These holidays I brought my army home for some 6th edition fun :D One Saturday evening we had enough time for a 3-player battle as described in Warhammer Chronicles 2003. While the most famous battle of three armies is of course La Maisontaal Abbey, we decided to use the "stan...

A Warhammer Fantasy campaign system
Hi! I came across this blog recently: http://beardbunker.blogspot.com/2019/12/the-border-princes-warhammer-fantasy.html and they provide a map campaign system which looks really fun to play, together with a map with hexes, icons for the factions, and a chronicle of the campaign played by the blog wr...

Can you take a pic of those quivers? So I at least know what they look like. Looking at the catalogue Rod posted, it seems that I don't have all the different ones which were released, I only have these differentes types: https://i.imgur.com/oAejH2q.jpg?1 Btw the last link works Rod, very inspirati...

Re: Elendor's Host of the White Tower
I was very lucky that I bought the metal Sea Guard second hand and the previous owner had all the quivers and the shields, so the models came with quivers. I think you might find them separately on eBay, people sell bits sometimes. I am not sure how difficult it might be to find the exact same ones.

Thanks for the comments! :D I especially like your turquoisey Teclis elendor! In the report he was specifically trying to represent a force defending a town in the coast from a Druchii raiding party, so he chose units he thought would be available in that situation

Thanks guys :D Maybe try a red wash on the skin and a black wash over the bronze to differentiate them further? They look great so far, Teclis is coming along nicely! That's a good idea, perhaps instead of black on the bronze I'd try an Agrax Earthshade wash :) Thanks about the Maidenguard, one of t...

starting to look great. You're quite far along with Teclis already. As for the maidenguard, I like them. Re: Elendor's Host of the White Tower
Well I don't play (neither in 6th nor in T9A) units of more than 20 models! I prefer 2 units of 20 Spears than a unit of 40 in terms of gameplay, and luckily for me both 6th and T9A support my personal taste. But in this particular case I have 30 LSG because I bought them second hand from a guy who ...

tough choice. That female character is very lovely, but you can't really go wrong with Teclis of course. Looking at your list of models already painted I think I would go with Teclis. You could field him as a generic (arch)mage, which is useful to have for your list. So I think Teclis will be a mor...
