You know, I actually didn't even think about that. It does however remove spell redundancy, which I'm sort of thinking will be vital against other hard armies (certain key spells). A fighty noble could definitely be nice to bolster this list, too!

Sort of depends on the rest of your army, what you fear etc. If you already have your core filled out, I'd go for RBT's. If you don't, maybe consider Sea Guard. With their spears and ranks they can reform and a single unit can defend a battery of RBT's fairly well vs dark riders/harpies
