Re: Elves of Light - Feedback, Asurion's your Voice...

hi asurion, a mounted griffon is monstrous cavalry with mounts protection and has the large target rule, which states you cannot have mounts protection, can you clarify if it has the mounts protection or not? Page 50, Mounts - Model is mounted on Warbeast or Chariot: +1. No matter how many mounts a...

Re: Elves of Light - Feedback, Asurion's your Voice...

I played against new Sword Masters and they are just right, no need to make them better. Unless I'm reading the discussion wrong I don't they they are talking about improving them because they need improving. Rather they want a unit similar to Warlocks or Sisters of the Thorn. And if you are lookin...

Re: Elves of Light - Feedback, Asurion's your Voice...

Swordmasters as a horrors-type unit is a pretty good idea as right now they don't have much of a role in the army. Hand of Glory and a Magic Missile would work well for them. They'd need a ward save (4+) to keep them alive, so a major points increase as well probably. Or maybe not so major given ho...

Looks great!, from what I can see.. I'm only getting a bust shot, are there more pics? Or is it a fault on my end?
I'd love to see a Full shot with angles around the model and some more close-ups of the mounted Althran rider.

I like this one slightly more.. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU/Knight-Venator He comes in Asuryan/High Elf(?) mode. And also in Green (Gold) Lantern mode. With Sigmar having access to baby Frostspyre Phoenices, it does bring a slight beam of hope that Elves will be pretty awe inspiring.. Whethe...

Re: Easy Balance

A few people over on warhammer-empire have tried it, and so far they seem to think it works pretty well. Even if it did feel a bit tacky. I can't imagine that Beastmen would've been happy about the MSRP pricing. Gets a bit tricky for combined kits though, doesn't it..? :| @ Gromo, you must un...

I feel a pre End Times setting would work quite well. Create new characters to go on G.R.R.Martin/Tarantino adventures if we so choose. Keep the Legends alive.

Re: Lith's little shadow corner

Mordheim and Shadow Warriors seem to be my thing since I got introduced to them both - it's a damned shame they were banned from the game. Apart from that, I definitely need to work on the cloaks and the blades. And now that I look at it the ropes could have gotten away with a dilluted badab black ...

Re: War lion mount tutorial?

Hey Lith, I'm happy to help. I'm pretty sure I just used corresponding halves of the two lions from the chariot kit. I may have needed to cut one of them in half to fit with one of the other sides. Which is pretty straight forward, draw a line in the lion's waist/chest area on both halves, then clip...

Hey Cale, sure, as I think I stated earlier that I'm happy to add people on once I got it casted (or just before). But yes. At the moment I've got a few ideas to make the Elamor project better, and more expansive and conversiony, for lack of a better word. Like a female Swordmaster unit, command and...

Didn't Asurion also promise to do some casting of that female Elven swordmaster last year? I seem to remember that he took orders but nothing ever came of it... What actually happened to the female swordmaster? Seeing how I've actually already paid for one I'm getting curious. Rod I'll try and expl...

Re: From an aesthetic POV: Re-basing to round bases

I do like the idea of all infantry then being the same size base wise, all on 25mm round? I'm not aware of 30mm round in GW. I do like the look and it would be especially helpful for getting creative with the bases for characters. But units would suffer from losing that ability to blend in with or c...

This is a tough one after re examining the rules. Until I realised that Wisetiger is putting too much emphasis on the 'obscured'. The meaning of obscure is in itself, depending how you read it 'obscure'. To me and everyone else I've met, cover from units is giving even if the unit/models covering th...

The three Elven races Druchii, Asur and Asrai have vastly different dialects, different words/spelling/meanings/pronunciation, for their gods aswell.
