Nice find! I've been taught that Danish was just Norwegian with a hot potato stuck in your mouth... Seems even the ancient Swedes agreed.

Only if you have a musician and you want to move after the reform then you need to make the LD test. This. Or shoot, though Dragon Princes won’t be doing much of that. I keep forgetting that one. But that might just be down to my archers, who cause about as many wounds when they do shoot as when th...

Cheers, This will be my 4th now...yikes lol. But I got this one cheap enough so it was alright.
That the standard excuse I use with my wife if I purchase more models... ;)

Are we getting more 3D printed terain for the board? Looking forward to it.

Re: The Tor Karyndis Campaign

Great battle. Very much a bloodbath indeed and some very wild swings in there. Just goes to show that the dice can be fickle. Just one thing I wondered about. The turn 6 skaven charge on the DP's. You don't need to pass a LD test to reform. You can always reform without a test. Only if you have a mu...

Re: Daughters of the Storm - Stormcast Eternals

How many armies do you have now? I dislike the stormcast models in general. But you're doing some very nice things with them. You got some great dynamic poses and lovely painting. I also like the bases. The white contrasts nicely with the gold of the models and gives them some much needed balance. C...

Re: Ulthuan Rallies for War

Sounds fun! The White Lion Chariot isn't bad by any means. But they (and all High elf chariots) have a few issues. The main one probably is that there are better choices out there. SH perform the same sort of mobile role, but they're cheaper, core, and more mobile because they can march. The chariot...

Another fun fact about the Varangian Guard is that members of them may have been responsible for some of the oldest known grafiti in the world. There's a few runic inscriptions in the Hagia Sophia which date to that era: Runic inscriptions in Hagia Sophia

That's a great looking dwarf force already. I agree with SA that the blue is lovely. I really like LotR from GW. The models look great and the rules look fun. Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as you were, with no opponents nearby to play (combined with no time to assemble a force...). So I haven'...

They definitely look great and like very personal holiday gifts. I'd be happy to get something like that. I decided, as a gimmick, to give my family a signed copy of my latest novel. Re: Ulthuan Rallies for War

I look forward to the battle reports appearing! I think in the back of the BRB there's also a "Last stand" scenario, where one side has half the points of the other, and you have different victory conditions. Something like that could also work. I also remember that there have been some sc...

Re: The Cavalry Prince - List Design, Tactics, Battle Reports

Let us know if you ever do get that Chaos Dwarves battle played :) As for Ogre's; they're an army I would love to love. They have some lovely models and characterful choices. They're also reasonably easy to get an army ready to fight since you have a low model count. But their choices are just a bit...

I agree with the others. It's a great looking army indeed. If you ever do get that 6k points battle played let us know; it will look epic! I don't think min-core will matter all that much at that points level. I think the game probably breaks as a tactical game above 3.5k or 4k points anyway and it ...

Re: Elendor's Host of the White Tower

Greenstuff is not that hard to work with. Give it a try. The best tip I've ever had about working with it is to use water to prevent it from sticking to stuff. Greenstuff is very sticky, which can make it a pain to work with. But if you use wet tools / fingers then the water prevents it from stickin...

Though it should be mentioned, at 1 model a week, creating a 200 model Waaaagh will take some time ;) :p

He looks great indeed. I love the bright colors. As for the gap, I don't think many people will notice. I didn't until you pointed it out to me and I had the benefit of a close-up photo. Of course, if you do want to fix it, you could look into creating some kind of green-stuff saddle.

Same here actually. I also refer to them as little men (or rather, the Dutch equivalent). But it feels different if you do it yourself among friends or if, like the show host or (mybe) your sister uses it in a condesending way.

Re: Henry Cavill on Warhammer

Nice find. I don't know any famous players. I did find the reaction of the show host interesting, and Henry Cavill's reaction feels familiar. It's someone who doesn't want to understand and sees "plastic toy figures you play with" and stops there. And Cavill feeling almost appologetic and ...

Not really related to anything, but I love the giant pile of dice in the bottom left corner of the first picture. Makes me want to pick 'em up and roll them. I like how we've gotten a leak about when we're going to see a leak about miniatures... I'm moderately excited. I don't mind 7th edition and I didn't mind 8th edition. So picking the best of those will work for me. Aiming for a 9th edition type of game sounds good to me, especially if we skip flying...
