Re: Fireborn
Why no musician on the second wolf rider unit? I'm not too familiar with CD to give detailed imput. I'm mainly wondering if you've got enough combat damage options to score enough points. Shooting is nice, but it's hard to completely finish a unit with shooting. Which might see you destroy a lot of ...

Re: Feedback on High elves 1000 pts. army
Indeed, SpellArcher is correct with the definition of force multiplier. Chariots by themselves aren't amazing. They're relatively slow and squishy. However, they're great to combine with a different unit, especially infantry, at lower points. The impact hits can be very deadly with an average roll. ...

Re: Feedback on High elves 1000 pts. army
I think the list is good enough for a returning player playing in a friendly tournament. One thing to note is that the game isn't really designed for 1.000 pts. Games can get a bit unbalanced, especially if people try to push their list to the limit. I would say, go with this one. There's nothing wr...

The big problem is getting hold of the minis you want. When I have money there are none I need on ebay. When I do not have money.... Anyway, I really would like to have one more repeater. And more Silver helms. More spears would not be bad either. After all, Cothique is famed for their spears and v...

Re: Ulthuan Rallies for War
Yeah, holding it can be a bit of a pain. I often see better / more professional painters either temporarilly glue the model to something (or use something like blue-tack) or clamp it in some kind of vice. I always remind myself I should get something like that and then don't...

He's starting to look good. With some more blending and finishing off the details he should look amazing I think. I found that it's actually a fairly fast model to get painted.

They have a very Byzantine feel for me, with their lamelar armour.

The skaven look great. You've really captured the nastyness of the little buggers. I've done a couple of test models to figure out how I want to do the traditional High Elf "fans" on their armor and uniforms. Once again, regretting leaving these little details all for the end. Along with t...

Sounds (and looks) like a great tournament. A shame you had some moments which could have gone better and that you ran into a gamey player. On the other hand, that last game just sounds awesome. The gitz in a tournament setting would look amazing. They might be loads of fun, though perhaps checking ...

I've also worked with blue stuff in the past, and it's easy enough to work with. If you have an example you can copy it fairly easily. It holds details enough for R&F models. I haven't found 3D print files for them just yet. I'm guessing it's a bit too specific a part for it to be offered online...

Re: 2500 army list from Warhammer Armies Project
I'm not a fan of the noble on foot (though I understand the need to have Ramesesis in your list...). I think they don't add enough for the points they cost. They're not mobile enough to be sure to get where they need to be and don't deal enough damage and are fairly squishy. As for core, I'd be curi...

The horse looks great. It's indeed a bit different from your normal sea green, but I think he'll still fit really well with the rest of the army and make him stand out at the same time. The red and green does feel a bit "old school". I think one of the first versions of the Dragon Princes ...

Indeed. However, do note that the other parry rules still apply. So it's only on foot, and only when attacked from the front etc. Which makes it less good than it appears

He looks nice. I like the adition of the yellow on the sash. It gives a nice focus to the model. Good to know about the wash. It's nice to have a good alternative to GW paints, they can get on the pricey side... And I hadn't found one so far which matched GW washes in quality. And having a matt alte...

That's a lot indeed. And the quality is superb.
Do you find that the skeletons / undead are faster to paint than Elves? Or did you just have more time to paint?

I agree that they're fine, size wise. You could just call them undead wargs instead of just wolves and get away with it.
And looking forward to the skycutter bolt thrower. Sounds like a fun custom project.

They look great, though I can imagine you're now sick and tired of hats... I love the little details like the mustaches and decorations on the sides of the helmets. They create a lot of very distinct and different heads. Does this now mean we've got a "how to make a greenstuff hat and mustache&...

They're definitely great models. For GW models they're very down to earth and normal, while they still manage to look like dwarves and have a lot of character in them. Which makes for great models I feel.
