I've been slowly repainting and rebasing my old elves to the new system. Pretty excited about how much improvement I've made since my first elf army back in the day as well!

This is a really amazing project. I love it, and have a similar love the Dragon Rampant rules for their versatility.

I'm currently running 2 units of 14-16 white lions with a bsb in one and a prince in the other. They're quite brutal. And I've been using the lore of beasts with them (sig spell taking them to S7 and T4) I've taken on block units and won easily. I've whittled down pheonix gaurd with them too.

I don't know if this a translation difference or not but my version of the rule says that "....High elves armed with spears fight with 1 extra rank to the front only. This means they normally fight in 3 ranks, or 2 in a turn they charge." The FAQ then tells you to ignore that last sentence...

Hey, has anyone else picked up on the fact that spearelves only get to fight in 1 additional rank rather than 2 now?
