I think Swordmasters work well with a Loremaster, besides being fluffy. The Loremaster can give them a 5+ Regen or +1 T relatively easily which helps with the defense. How did you like switching out the big block of Silverhelms for 2 small units? Obviously it helps give you so more board control, but did you miss the hitting power at all from the bigger lance? I think this is a great example of a small list change that could have very large consequences.

I have been using the Guardian Phoenix and Silver Wand. Keep him with the archers/spears until the end of the game when hopefully most of the shooting is gone and then hope he lives. Hasn't worked my last two games

I think I am reading the rule correctly, but if a mounted character joins a unit of infantry, they get no LOS against templates correct? The rulebook says they don't get it if there are less than 5 models, but does not say for joining a different unit type.

Before you get in trouble, remove the individual points costs.

Thanks from the clarification. From the picture, it looks like a pretty obvious flank charge on the eagle and an overrun into the DPs would have been possible.

In turn 4, why did his warrior unit not overrun after mincing the eagle into the unit of Dragon Princes? Was the distance too far, or was he trying to set something else up (though I can't figure out what that might be)...
