I do use an airbrush for painting my miniatures, although I cannot claim to be an expert. I like a lot the techniques shown by a guy called Marco Frisoni on Youtube, his channel is Not Just Mecha. Yes the airbrushing did save quite a bit of time, plus I like using it.
I think it would be even more worth it with bigger miniatures, like monstrous infantry and big monsters.

As a bonus, I managed to get two more HE archers of the same kind I posted before and a command unit, so that the five new models take my unit to a much more useful 24 with full command:

Cutting to the chase, no more work in progress pictures, just the final result.
Not the best models by any stretch, but I feel a decent job and while I don't see myself using them, somebody perhaps will buy them.

The answer to the question I asked myself is no, I cannot paint a unit only with an airbrush.
There still needs to be a lot of paintbrush work.
Those pesky orc archers have not been fun, but they are nearly done. Will hopefully post the final result in a few days.
