Re: Doctor's Warriors of Discord
Unfortunately so far it went rather bad. At first I had no problems, but than it went wrong (the airbrush started to clog, then overspilled). I also realized that my lighting conditions are far from being good enough for airburshing (with a standard brush it's ok, but with the airbrush you have to s...

Thanks!
BTW I've just started painting my Frostheart Phoenix - this will be my first model painted with the aribrush. Unfortunately I've bought it assembled, which makes some things quite a lot harder

Re: Doctor's Warriors of Discord
I guess I like the colour blue :D Some chaos warhounds. Unfortunately I suck at taking photos of miniatures, so the drybrush looks much worse than in reality (more gray and flat). Also the wet-blended horns look a bit better. Next five will be different - blue fur, which has more depth (but I have t...

So the High Prince of Ryma rides a dragon? I think that according to the rules his armour and ward saves don't work.

I have Airbrush Compressor AS-186 and it costed me app 100 Euros, but it is good investment, you don't need anything more than that. Damn, that's expensive, it's around 60 euros in Poland. I agree, buy one with a tank. - Airbrush gun: for the beginning you should take some cheap one, until you mast...

Re: RE.Lee's "Record of Lost Colonies" - TK counterattack!
The Everqueen makes wonders in a big block of WLs (combined with the BotWD) :) It means no scroll in smaller games, though. In a big game, using a lvl 4 mage and Loremaster with a book can be interesting. Two scolls won't be such an effective counter when you have so many cheap to cast, effective an...

Skaven are my usual opponent. I haven't tested Cal on his bird because Skaven can easily disable flying and the phoenix has only M2. Monsters are also vulnerable to the WLC and Doomwheel. Keep that in mind, it may be his weakness. I do want to test him someday. I usually include PG with BoEF as my a...

Re: 2000 pt list, looking for tactical advice
Good advice. Though putting the mage into a BotWD bunker makes surviving miscasts a lot easier. I second the recommendation of taking the dispel scroll, I wouldn't leave home without it (unless I'd take the book or the Everqueen). I think you can consider lowering your dragon mage's level to get the...

So this is how he looks with the shield (and his head :) ) in different lighting conditions. He still needs some highlights (mostly on the sword, which isn't finished). I'm satisfied with the painting scheme, though I'll experiment a bit with different models to add variety. I think I'll make him a ...

Some more WIP shots of the Chaos Warrior test model. This is my first ever attempt at airbrushing. I basecoated and washed the shield just like the armor and then covered everything except the chaos symbol with the liquid mask. The idea is to make the symbol shine like it was burning hot or somethin...

It used to be really good, in the times of the first edition of WFRP. Currently, I don't even know.
