Re: Age of Fantasy
I have been using the age of fantasy skirmish rules as a basis for a ttrpg with my kids. Rules are pretty easy to understand and so far it's working great.

Terrain question
I'm looking for printable terrain, like palisade walls, fences, maybe even parts of a building, that I can glue to chipboard and cut out. My random Google searches are proving to be fruitless so if any of yall know where I might find something like this I'd love to know.

Re: Hands Across The Annulii - Avelorn and Chrace
Regarding the blue stuff: I've used it for space wolf terminator shoulders and I did some marine legs once but when I tried a heavy bolter.... eh. Too much detail I suppose. It did not go well.

Re: Warhammer the old world
I understand the time issue. Somewhere along the way I grew up, got married, had kids... some of my children enjoy OPR and KoW though, when we get the time. Still... I miss ulthuan and the other games don't quite scratch that itch.

Re: The Dawn of New Caledor
Hate painting faces. I'm terrible at it. I always try my best to get minis with full helmets though it's unavoidable sometimes. Could greenstuff some veils....

I am also wanting to see more of this project. The green stuff work is great. All my effort at sculpting usually turns into something even tzeentch wouldn't appreciate

Re: Warhammer the old world
I'm slightly excited, though also a bit cautious. GW has a tendency to simply drop something and leave people out in the cold if they feel like it. But new models are always great and the new rules might be good or fun. We'll see. The main problem I do see is that the gaming community is a lot more...

Re: Henry Cavill on Warhammer
I think it depends on how much producers are able/decide to stick with the source material and not deviate. I've looked forward to many series only to be disappointed by the changes made to them. Often the whole underlying story or characters are changed.

Silicone mold question
Trying my hand at making silicone molds and then resin minis. All those nifty YouTube videos have me thinking I can accomplish this. Anyway, making a 2 part mold and wondering about releasing agents. Will baking soda or cornstarch work for this?

Eldar is for the refined tastes. Orks are for indulging in the party side of our personalities we don't admit to having in polite company, hehe

I know the feeling. Big, empty hole. However, my children, nieces, and nephews are getting old enough so we're giving kow a shot. I've a lot of elves dwarves and skaven sitting around.

Warhammer the old world
Just curious about interest in GW's plans to go back to warhammer fantasy and back it up a few hundred years from the end times. I know lots of people moved on to other games (KOW for me) and was curious about people returning to the old world again. I miss Ulthuan, white lions, and chariots, and ev...

Just a bump for the post here. I've not said anything about it in 6-7 months. Lots of new things going on even in that time. I'd encourage yall to have a look. If you're a high elf fan, considering the forum we're on here lol, the is an all high elf guild in game should that strike your fancy.

Re: Return of Reckoning
Oh the game itself is something like 9 years old. EA closed up shop but these guys were able to start this private server. they are nearly rebuilding it from the ground up. if you had seen it two years ago compared to today... wow. amazing work. anyway, it's free to play and the admins are rather on...

Return of Reckoning
I'm not too familiar with searching on this forum though I'm sure the subject has been talked about before. I'm not sure how long ago. For those of you/us who played Warhammer Online some enterprising individuals revitalized the game as Return of Reckoning. A lot has happened with it (I am not part ...

Re: I cant Paint White
I remember painting white shoulder pads on my Iron Snake chapter space marines (inspired by another fellow who did them first). I think I ended up coating the white 3 or 4 times after priming grey. Granted, a shoulder pad is easier as it is smooth and continuous without the folds of a robe. Still, i...

As for red, I used Red Gore on my models and liked the shade. I'm not sure what the new name for that color is (maybe it is khorne red, not sure) but the color worked well in my eyes.

Re: An ambitious project (castle)
Yeah, it does seem rather large but hey... dream big right? hehe. As for walls, how about wider at the bottom, more narrow at the top. I want to say in two HE codex ago (dont butcher me for using the wrong plural for that word) there were some nice buildings in the photographs with some slanted wall...
