What do you guys use for a points system. I am not using any points at the moment but am considering perhaps using one SOMETIMES. I do like not using any points as it makes the game feel nice and friendly but I would like to try a points system at some point. SO what do you guys use for points in AOS?

Has anyone tried out the Glittering Host Battalion? I haven't given it much thought until recently. Seems like it would be a great battalion to try out for an MSU style list. You could get two consecutive pile ins on one unit before they ever attack back. Given the nature of AoS combat, MSU is hard...

My opinion:

I have enjoyed AOS so much more than 8th edition games.I honestly don't think Tabletop gaming is supposed to be about winning at all costs it is supposed to be about having fun.

I actually think AOS has more tacics than 8th as 8th seemed to me all about getting the best army list as possible rather than actual in game tactics.

I have tried using a unit of 35 spearmen along with two wizards (one of them teclis (3 spells (+2 to cast)) and a loremaster. The result: I buffed my spearmens armour save to 2+ with multiple mystic shield every hero phase. I really recommend this tactic! Its fun

i was thinking of creating a army of high elves with a lot of shadow warriors sisters of Avalorn and, of course, archers. I've mainly focused on close combat high elf army's before so is there any advice about creating a ranged high elf army?

Can you use the end times lists in normal games, and does the eternal hatred rule mean that swordmasters and white lions can re-role hits again, and, can you use the host of the eternity king list just with high elves and still get all the special rules that come with it?

I need ideas for a 2K high elf army list made to fight empire. The empire army I am going to fight will either be comprised of loads of knights or loads of cannons so it would be helpful if you said one list for knights and one for guns.
