Sadly, none of my mages carry anything remotely similar to a Chracian great blade.
As for lore, I usually use my mages to buff my units, so high magic is useful there.

But the Banner of Balance could be useful on my Lions and thr general.

Then I simply bring a smal spear unit as support.

And I guess I could have the BSB with my larger Woodsmen unit. A Battle banner would be quite a suprise with them.

I still only have one Lion chariot but I do have a second bolt thrower somewhere. And I have been contemplating putting a magical banner on the BSB.

One reason why I adore my PG is that they can take the Battle banner themselves. So sweet.

I am considering fielding a Chracian list so I can field my 16 Woodsmen of Chrace. I feel strength 4 shooting can be a good thing.
Even White lions or Lion guard should be useful.

Yes, it may not work so well with wood elves. Eternal guards can be drilled but that does not really help.
Still, I have been thinking along those lines.

The rumours hints at an Eternal guard centered force. Talsyn is however the core area of Athel Loren were forest spirits are closest to the elves but it is not the dominant part of it.
But maybe they benefit from an elven generals leadership?

Grind does not sound to tempting with Eternal Guards. 5+ armour only do that much.
However, maybe there is a possibility for a ward or regen save?

So, those beast units looks interesting. But what a mix of animals. But it could be a fun project making your own.

Yes, that seem a logical idea and I am thinking like that aswell. But the rule is a bit unclear.

And what happen if a champion get an item that make said champion Impetous? Does transfer to the whole unit since the champion cannot leave the unit?

Well, I got soundly beaten in first a 500 point and in the following 1500 point game. In the 500 point I faced an Engineer expeditionary force and got shot to pieces. I only brought 5 Sisters for shooting, 14 spears and 10 White lions and a noble. The spears got shot at and then beaten by 8 rangers ...

Okay, this... Is with certainty the crappiest paintjob I have ever done. Basically rushpaint so they can be fielded on sunday.
But if they do well I will return to them and give them proper attention.
