What do you use for you Warriors?

Yes, that's what i know.

I'm also interested in the warriors. I've just checked if I can make good unit of hand weapon and shiedl-ish models. (Yes). Thery are so much cheaper, especially sice you need at least 25-36 spears to really make good use of all their advantages.

How are you finding it Aerendar? It's a solid ruleset, well thought out, 8th without the disadvantages. I'm planning to play Lumineth with my SH, Spears and Bows. AoS is played at our club and I'd like to try the game.

We're playing Warhammer Renaissance now, and we're off trying WAP 9th ed. so it'll probably remain with a one-off.

What is the size of WHQ?

There is a SM-like figure in de Direchasm set.

I think it's really hit or miss, for the full range. I do like the horse-elves that came out a few months ago, and I do like some of the personalities in the direchasm box.

I like the spearelves too, but I don't need more of them.

Love the lion riders. I'm slowly wrapping my mind around some of the models, especially the Lumineth cavalry. Thnks for sharing.

Does anyone know how the LOTR Knights of Dol Amroth compare to (4th Edition respectively 5th edition) Silver Helms?

The 5+ edition SH have the big horses, but the 4th ed had the old caparisoned GW horse. They ar a bit smaller, and I would like to know how the knights fit with those.

I think it's a (very) different game and should be seen as such. There is very little overlap between WH and AoS, other then that they share the same models and both use dice. I think it is Brexit. That they are not very clear about it, is political: the WH public is probably very mixed in its opinion on Brexit en moreover, they do not want to be classified as taking a political stance and/or being branded as a player in an alleged 'project fear'.

This is currently not the case for GW. I think they managed to push the technology to such a point where they can do pretty much whatever they want. So, that is what they do. They do not have to look for creative solutions. It's a bit similar to action movies that rely too much on graphical effects...
