KotR's models

Now that I found an adequate site to upload my models to, I can show them off. Re: P&M Showcase: Characters on Monsters

THIS IS NOT MINE. I just saw it on the What's New Today blog on Games Workshop's site, liked it and thought it was appropriate for this thread. Re: Total war Warhammer

If you like empire building, then I suggest you find a mod that decreases the expanding penalties (increased Imperium comes with diplomatic and corruption penatlies among other things), though I also suggest you try a first playthrough without it to be sure about how much you can expand without havi...

Re: Taming of the Wildman of Ancient Times Released

Chaos dwarves must feel the need to compensate for something, what with their huge hats.

Good job!

Re: War Booty of Ancient Times Released

At first I laughed at the naked female dwarf slave (because I'm horrible) but then I spotted the whip wounds and I cringed (because I'm not that horrible). Good job! I love how the chaos dwarf's hat is nearly taller than he is.

Re: Total war Warhammer

Yeah, from the dwarves let's play I watched in my language, Warhammer Total War looks awesome. And I believe the Creative Assembly just showcased their first "mod week," atleast according to my Total War game launcher.

Re: Total war Warhammer

I can't tell you which is better, but I can tell you everyone I've seen on forums consider Rome II an unfinished abortion compared to Attila. I can also tell you my favorite is by far Rome II and I didn't have that much fun with Attila. I also like the skills management in Rome II better than the on...

Re: Total war Warhammer

(or any of the other recent parts in the series for that matter) I've had more fun than I ever had with the Total War series with Rome II, and I'd have that too with Attila if they hadn't changed the way skills level up and agents recruitment worked (in addition to the impossibility to play a small...

Re: Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower

I read Shyamalan believed his casting choice was the very opposite of racist too.

But I've derailed this thread enough.

Am I the only one who liked the old metal horrors better? These were creepy and disturbing, those in Silver Tower just look comical in my eyes.

Re: Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower

I'm certain I saw a black marauder model from GW themselves or one of their painters somewhere ... and I have the vaguest memory that one of the three main marauder tribes of the Old World was dark-skinned. At least GW were smarter than Shyamalan in The Last Airbender, where the good guys were pure ...

Re: Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower

I'm so used to seeing only white skin on humans, elves and dwarves in the Warhammer world that I'm actually surprised the excelsior warpriest is black. This is a pleasant surprise, mind you. :) I'm getting space marine levels of overdose from the stormcast eternals though, which I guess is more than...

Lovely archers and Lothern sea guards Myth! The Hounds are good too, though I'm not sure they qualify as infantry! D'oh! I was so glad I managed to pull off those pictures with a phone camera and internet flickering out that I equalled all core units to core infantry. #-o I'll remove the hounds' pic...

Re: Two minutes of silence for Tomb Kings

Codex SM, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Grey Knights and ... ? Chaos space marines, though their players' consensus seems to be that they're the red-headed stepchildren of the space marines, if not of the entirey of Games Workshop's range. (My Adepta Sororitas rhino isn't impressed.) Bla...

Tomb Kings are the first army to go.
Because six kinds of space marines is okay but two different undead armies is going too far.

And this is why the Lord of the Rings models are my favorite.

I thought people could be hostile about Games Workshop's greed and then I glanced at twcenter's thread about the upcoming Total War: Warhammer. I don't know much about developping video games, so I don't know whether downloadable content announced (and apparently close to finished) six months before...

Delete this post if it doesn't warrant threadomancy. I had my first game of Age of Sigmar today. ~50-55 wounds per side between warriors of chaos and Nurgle daemons. The first half hour tops consisted of my two units of five warhounds getting wiped out without inflicting a single casualty to a ten-p...

Re: Two wishes about griffons

My wishes are more for models than rules; I'd love to see a mage on griffon (especially if she shares the aesthetics of the druchii sorceress, however unlikely that would be) or armor on the beast. Barding protecting only the front like the Isle of Blood reavers would look good in my opinion.

Hope this is not too much of a thread-necromancy... I'm tactically-challenged so I don't think I've learned how to play the game better from reading this thread, but I've enjoyed every Asur battle report you've posted. I'm glad to know high elves can be played without great eagles. I don't recall th...

Two wishes about griffons

Am I the only one who wish mages and archmages could ride a griffon? And to mitigate the mount being about as armored as the rider, am I alone in wishing for a barded griffon?

Re: Total war Warhammer

Since it's a game, even if they start the End Times, you'll be able to do something no one in the lore has managed to achieve: beat back Chaos.

Maybe make a big friendly alliance like in Mass Effect 3 too.
