Re: Different Nagarythe Colour schemes?
Like Andrew I would go for a darker and more 'extreme' version of your current theme. That way they fit in and stand out at the same time. What is your current scheme? Rod My current scheme is the notorius blue/white scheme/silver and a hint of gold ( I know I know, but before your eyes roll out of...

Different Nagarythe Colour schemes?
Hi, Straight to the point: Im planning on building a "small" nagarythe section to my army . I especially like the new dreadspears/shards(maybe some other dark elves too) models and would like to impliment them to my HE-army, but a slight alternative colour scheme of my current army would t...

Re: How do you add variety within your color scheme?
You dont neceseraly dont need to use yellow, gold would work too as you are going to GW:s general High Elf theme. Just use a warm color to break the colour scheme with unit decorations etc and you should be fine it could be enough to add some variety to the models. I have a feeling that it could hel...

For all those claiming Space Dwarves don't exist, well... in GW you would be right. but RAWR! http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home/Warpath/Forge-Fathers.html If I do recall correctly Emperor of mankind actually did fight some space dwarves in his early conquests. That is probably the most economic you can get with those points given. If you would have few points to spare Dawnstone or Potion of Strength would be quite good items, but they bring his point cost to 131 or 126 with enchanted shield. Dawnstone would be my favorite if you can squueze him somewhere ...

Deus Ex theme HE. Yes please, start a blog :D! We are roughly a mid tier army still, most of our units are playable and our army versatility is top notch. Yes the Monster problem still hangs around that makes playing Caledorian Lords sometimes a bit iffy, but it generally isnt our fault. Teclis migh...

Its mostly fluffy reasons really since the model has a lance.
But in general the lance will be only used if something removes fangsword from play, ie spell or magic item.

Re: BSB with BOTWD
As pointed Archmage generally should always stick with the banner. But other then that I would say that the BSB:BoTWD generally isnt worth it. He is prone to get challenged/directed attacks against him, which leads virtually in most cases him/her getting butchered or even worse sniped at someway wit...

I really think its a cool idea having a magic powered machine with the elves. 1. I cant personally answer this since I dont have apple products #-o , but in a sense I find most of the painting related stuff worth the pricetag. Worst case scenario = it might not have the things you want, but you might still pick a few tricks. If you want a bigger book I would probably recommen...

Sell the Skaven at your local warhammer community and effectively get 10x LSG 5x Reavers 10x Swordmasters + minirulebook for ~30€ or ~30$.
They might get repacking when the release of next edition starter set hits the shelf.

However, don't forget that Dread Knight forces the Vampire Lord to issue and accept challenges. An infantry block with FC and +3 rank bonus can stall him for a bit. If you get the charge, and challenge the Lord, he must accept. Your champ will have ASL and the Lord has ASF - he is going to kill you...

If we are talking synergies, I would like to put my definate vote for: Combat Character with Khaine's Ring of Fury in a unit of Phoenix Guard Thats just a brutal synergy. Every magic phase, your primary caster leaves a powerdice for Khaine's Ring. You pick up the dice and on a 3+ you have kicked ou...
