Question: Do they have to ride horses? Wouldnt some kind of artifical steeds work too? Would not recommend broomsticks though. :-D

Re: Miniatures Transportation & Storage

Well my solution is bit tricky DIY. I am currently working on several wooden frames from 55 to 100mm depth with metal sheet shelves. These frames will have strong magnets screwed on top and I will have them normally magnetized to the ceiling of my workspace (my workspace is on the underside of our b...

Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

It has been said many times. The whole purpose for the End Times is to make the armies more manageable to update for GW, without reducing their actual number... at least thats what the general consensus is and rumours were for the past two years. The state of things in terms of updates were bad. WFB...

Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

Just had a similar debate with a friend over a beer yesterday. He was very angry about Bretonnians merging with Empire. For some strange reason he just could not understand that noone forces him to add Empire to his army... and kept talking about how his knights will never fight along empire peacock...

Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

I really do think that we should wait until the whole End Times play out... There will be a lot more to tell and I still remember what GW said, which was something like that there are plots within plots... I doubt we have seen them all... :-) Do not discard Tyrion yet. Death is nothing absolute in W...

My point is... we will have an unwritten book laid before us... we can make our own noble stories by our deeds and fluff. Without any stigma coming from the books and Army Books.

Despite straying to another topic - Emperor does not demand any sacrifice. It is provided for him so he won't die and be reborn. Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

If those beings have personalities, and are self aware, and still don't give a shit about the pain they cause to the convetional world, then yes, they should be considered evil. You are talking about consciousness to causing harm as a deciding factor for being good or evil, which is very simplistic...

Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

Chaos gods are evil. They seek to destroy and manipulate as per their own desire, gladly killing or torturing anyone in their wake. While Khorne to a degree, like Khaine, may be driven by instinct, Tzeentch and Slaanesh are beyond a doubt evil in its purest form. Nurgle I don´t know that well (gott...

Re: End Times: Khaine fluff discussion (may contain spoilers

Correct me if I am wrong, but all Race Lores and even the Chaos Lores are supposed to be some mix of the 8 basic winds, no? Dwarves bind winds of magic by runes - no reason for Metal not being able to bind into one of them. Some Ogre Firebelly seems like a good choice for Fire. And Beasts? Why not s...

Re: End Times: Khaine fluff discussion (may contain spoilers

In the End Times it´s simple: There are only really two sides. You are either with Chaos or you are against. The question is how many bloody battles like the one taking place on Ulthuan in Warhammer: Khaine have to be fought before everyone realizes this. This... How is any, ANY deception, crime, h...

Re: All this has happened before: Khaine Analysis [BIG SPOIL

Resignation... or design... the other side of knowing the fates might be the absolute knowledge of the possible outcomes. Maybe Lileath is the Oracle... not the Architect if I keep the Matrix analogy. Maybe she wants to change the status quo, but is very much aware how even a single word could chang...

Thank you, Curu, for this. Very informative indeed. If I may add something to Lileath... I am not convinced that being a god of fate gives you any power to influence it. It might actually be very restrictive as you might be in the position of knowing the fate and being charged to make sure it actual...

Did all the world (probably including Finubar) believe its PKs child? I never said he was a traitor. I said he is not a paragon of virtue. I stated my opinion on Tyrion in previous posts and I am apparently not alone who thinks this. Tyrion is narratively a well made character, but both his brother ...

Tyrion always acted honorable, measured and gained the love and respect of both the people and the nobility by his actions earning him the title of "Defender of Ulthuan". No... he did not. I refer you to the books. Tyrion was nowhere near the paragon some are trying to depict him as. Cont...

Re: End Times: Khaine fluff discussion (may contain spoilers

Hope not. It wouldn't be that illogical for Khaine to do something like that, but for the sake of the story I hope not.

Honestly, I see as much more likely Malekith dying and somehow making Asuryan reborn, even though still low probability.

I dont think that even if PKs were false matters. What matters is the perception from Nagash' side or his ressurection lot's. The fact they believed that she is a "trueblood" is the crucial thing. Therefore I dont see any inconsistency.
