Re: Th3_5had0w_K1ng Painted Characters & Units
Thanks so much guys. Any tips on painting pale Cothique yellow? I've tried multiple methods but none of it really does it for me. It's either too red from the yellow wash or too bright https://i.pinimg.com/originals/af/5a/aa/af5aaa9fc6af7983bceab0822bc35a24.png https://gamepedia.cursecdn.com/totalwa...

Well, I guess I can say that this is the worst case of thread necromancy I've ever been responsible for. Decided to keep painting but all those miniatures posted earlier have been stripped 100% so I can do them justice. Also if anyone is so inclined - my hobby blog on Instagram is coastsofcothique w...

Re: Warhammer: The Old World
I'm cautiously hopeful for the "Old World". There are plenty of other rank and file games that have a more streamlined and less complicated ruleset that caused GW to pull the plug on fantasy.... I don't think they'll make significant changes to the lore considering the success of the Total...

Re: Old World announcement and now "Pointy" Aelves.
So do we think it'll be a head swap kind of army..... Or do we just hope for the Old World to be better and not worry about it? High Elves have always had decorative headgear representing various animals that are revered by the unit in question (dragons, phoenixes, eagles, lions, fish) so in the co...

What are they playing now in your area dude? I haven't the faintest idea. I played 40k for a while but honestly fantasy was my "once a week game" and when the local meta died... so did a lot of my interest in tabletop gaming. I've just been focusing on the career instead. I looked into th...

2400 Point "Powerplay" List (All cav/flyers)
Hi all, Looking to create a pretty competitive list for any armies. I've come up with the following and figured I'd ask you guys what you think. This list is based off Curu's article located here. He mentions heavy use of a single Silver Helm block however I just bought a ton of Dragon Princes (abou...

Ah 40k. I was slowly (a blister or two every couple weeks) starting to put together an IG army, but then they quit making Valhalens and I stopped. I should go swing my my parents and get those out of the attic. I'll bet they are quite pricy now. Yeah they sell them as collectors models now -> http:...

It's not that shiny. Thats from the light source I was using. I like the heavy wash though. Gives it that jungle sweat, grimy look.Elithmar of Lothern wrote:Ouch, that Cadian looks to have suffered a bit from washes.

4/5e Shadow Warriors I'd like the musician, but my interest in the rest is quite minimal. Awesome thanks Shannar. And you also see my predicament. I could convert the musician into a Dragonhorn noble... but really i'm like, "meh" I have changed my "willing to trade for" list. If...

LTP: High Elf Shadow Warriors 4/5th Ed for trade
I honestly have no use for these models. I have no desire to paint them and they are just going to be continuously collecting dust among my vast army. I think they are marauders from 5th edition... not sure. Let me know what you think they're worth (in trading models). I'd rather someone own them t...

Re: Last 12 points to spend
In all honesty I'd drop the standard bearer for the SM unit. They cause so many wounds that the difference of 1 in a Combat Resolution just isn't worth the 27 points that single model takes up. Standard Bearers are incredibly expensive for specials and IMO it's too much. So drop that standard bearer...
