I really want to beleive you!
What you think would be the minimun budget for an airbrush starter set? I wouldnt mind playing a little bit.
By the way, I opened a Painting Blog with a first post:

I guess it is better to post there rather in here.
To start with an AB, you would need:
- Air compressor: I recommend you take basic one, but with air tank (doesn't have to work all the time, just to adjust pressure in the tank), pressure regulator, air filter and some security features. I have Airbrush Compressor AS-186 and it costed me app 100 Euros, but it is good investment, you don't need anything more than that.
- Airbrush gun: for the beginning you should take some cheap one, until you master it out and improve air brushing . Pay attention on cleaning and maintenance, otherwise you may not use it for long. I would recommend you took gravity feed gun, with dual-action trigger. Nozzle size 0.3mm as optimum, later on it can be adjusted to 0.2mm for smaller details or >0.3mm for priming and base coating.
- Colors, thinners, cleaning, accessories: I use Vallejo air range products (colors, thinners) and I'm very pleased with it. For the cleaning you can go just with warm water and AB gun brushes....you don't need chemistry on that, just clean it during the work if you need to take a brake....eg. when you finish with one color, spray or throw out all paint from the cup out add some warm water and spray it further until AB gun will be clean....that would be enough to keep it operational. Airbrush Cleaning Station is handy one
http://www.alexandar-cosmetics.com/en/p ... ccessories since it has AB handler and cleaning pot.
If you are low on budget, you don't have to buy air colors, but you can use regular one, just you need to thin them properly with Air Thinner (maybe distilled water will work as well, but never try that).
Those are some tips, hope it will be useful. You have a lot of guides on the web, just google it or feel free at ask further for any particular thing.
