Shipped off to the Retirement Tower

#1 Post by Voodoomaster »

Well it is that time
Time for me to be shipped out of my cartography room and into the ranks of the Retired Loremasters in the White Tower's grumpy tower. At the beginning of the year i submitted my resignation to Adam, and he graciously accepted.

Its been a long time coming i am afraid, since graduation my time has gotten shorter and shorter i successfully got a job as a telephone salesman in the IT industry and have since risen in rank to account manager so i spend alot of my time out and about in customer meetings and i will continue this role for the foreseeable future.
in terms of spare time now, i barely have any having gotten married my spare time is mostly taken up by being with my loving and supportive wife, however through her care and loving support i have also managed to get myself elected onto both the Parish and Borough Councils in the last 2 years so any spare time i had outside the missus is long gone with my activities on behalf of my constituents taking a priority over warhammer.

i haven't played a game in 2 years and haven't painted a model for just as long, and so they have gathered dust but they are still there ready and waiting for a mini voodoo to come along and for me to teach the joys i had for the game.

i am sorry that i kinda left you all in a lurch i had such plans for here, a 5th campaign around Grom's invasion, updating the site to go into the new decade, but it all fell on the back burner.

if you want to grab me or get in contact with me please do add me on facebook (although tell me who you are as i am forgetful in my old age) or follow me on twitter (@guygrandison) and if you are ever in the Reading area give me a shout.

take care all and don't worry i will still lurk and comment once in a while and don't count me gone forever

Cheers
Guy

Yeah, I guess ruling the Council with an iron fist would take all your spare time. Especially since it's only a step for your ultimate goal: Emperor of the United Kingdom.

a 5th campaign around Grom's invasion
well shit.

The 4th campaign was possibly the most fun I've had online over an extended period of time, except maybe the few times where I've pretended to be a girl, enticing some desperate middle aged men....

Hope your retirement is going well!
