Fluff question - Sea Lord Aislinn - where's the dragon ref?

#1 Post by Damiel »

Hi all,

I've been scouring the interwebz and haven't been able to get an answer to this. It has been mentioned that in the fluff Sea Lord Aislinn rides a dragon. There was even a reference to 'page 91'. However, Aislinn was introduced in '94. He wasn't in the 2001 army book, and the 2007 army book only has 84 pages. I even tried Storm of Chaos, but it's not in there either that I can find.

Does anyone know where the reference is to Aislinn riding a dragon? I don't doubt that he does, I just can't find the reference and would like to be sure before I expend too much creative energy.

Cheers
Damiel.

It is on page 91 of the 2007 book, inside the short story about Sea Guard fighting Orcs.

He's got it. In the lords section. It's a Blue-White dragon, because someone likes adjectives.

Well. I guess it depends on what you mean by "all". In that era they tended to get shown in that colour scheme yes. I think even the 5e book has Imriks dragon painted that way. But there have been other colours. I'm selling an extra of the 4e one right now, and the picture on the box is unquestionably red.

Either way it still reads like someone was getting paid by the word.
