Battlefleet Gothic Armada
Anyone playing the beta? This thing is really good! I'm excited for the full release at the end of the month.

Anybody playing? I like it a lot but it's tough to get the hang of! 'Normal' difficulty is tough!

How different is it from the original BFG John?
I bought this and painted some ships but never played!

Re: Battlefleet Gothic Armada
It is actually surprisingly true to the game. Obviously the implementation of everything is slightly different but I like it. Ships have all been translated very well as well as maneuvers like 'burn retros', 'reload', etc. I will warn you though the learning curve is steep!

Re: Battlefleet Gothic Armada
I do want to pick this one up, eventually. It'll probably be awhile. I am only willing to commit a little time to video games, and right now that's all going to Mordheim. Which is ok, but not all I'd hope for.

Re: Battlefleet Gothic Armada
I would probably recommend waiting anyway - they are yet to release two of the playable races (marines + surprise faction) and there are still a fair few bugs to be ironed out. Overall I like it a lot though.
