Imperial Super-Heavy Tanks + Imperial Guard

#1 Post by Shadow Ranger »

I'm going to collect a 1500 or 2000pt imperial guard cadian or catachan army, does anyone have any tips? With the army i'm going to have a super heavy tank. Either one from the Baneblade kit or the Shadowsword/ Stormllord kit. Which one is best or suits different army compositions and which upgrades should i give it?

i might do a shadowsword with twin-linked heavy bolter, targetters, heavy stubber and hunter-killer missile for my space marine army as I have no long range firepower. 1500 SM army + 497 tank = 2000pts apocalipse army

Though you usually need to have a 3000 points army for apocalypse.

i only join in apocalypse battles with loads of people a side, at my local store so the shadowsword can kill other superheavies like imperial stuff and titans

Why not magnetize it? All of them in one big chassis...
