The end of free army books...already?

#1 Post by Elithmar »

With the release of the new Stormcast Eternals book, which apparently contains all their warscrolls and the full AoS rules, the free downloadable Stormcast Eternals rules seem to have disappeared from the GW website (as do the Bloodbound rules, or whatever they're called). Does this mean GW are phasing out free rules, probably just leaving the 'Warhammer' armies up until the armies get replaced?

On a more important note, if anyone's going to get the book, when it comes out could you say whether there are points costs in it? I know it's probably wishful thinking, but if they're going to bring points costs back, this would be the time to do it.

I can still access the Stormcast rules on GW's website. You have to go to the individual models page to find them. I don't think they've ever had a complete compendium, though. That's just for the "old" armies.

Not getting this book or any of the others. But there are not points values. The chaos one is already out.

The warscrolls remain free. The book just has the whole range for the Stormcast Eternals plus some battalion warscrolls, fluff and information sbout the "chapters" they have.

I have bought the book so I can have all my warscrolls in one place and also for collection. :)
