The game is a Strategy game where Kingdoms fight to take control Of Renascent. Now the most interesting part of the game is that players design their own kingdom (write the story, create the units with a unit designer rule set) so its great for those who are creative or always wanted to play a race in Warhammer that had no book or has no book. The game of course isn't like Warhammer in that its closer to Axis and Allies and Risk as it is a territory grab game, Every territory is worth RP and RP buys troops, boats, special units, boats ect. Your Kingdom also gets to design 1 Special Character or as we call them 1 Hero which can be as strong as a Unit and have special actions like your special units. I have mentioned special units twice now and well I think I better explain what they are. Basically there is 6 Special units the first a Scout (which can steal from kingdoms and spy on there territories giving you exact troop counts, they also have lots of cool missions they can do like Assassination and Hinder Building) Mages are your spellcasters they can choose when you build your Mage Tower what lore to use from the following Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Death each lore has specific advantages and disadvantages but they give players even more choices that make their kingdom unique. The next thing are priests which can follow a different religion (there is several created ones but you can make your own too) His Religion allows him to cast prayers through Faith Points. Siege weapons which barrage the enemy before a fight, and flyers which can be used to fly across territories giving you the ability to attack the unguarded. Now this game is not just mindless war there is a great deal of political intrigue and exchange between Kingdoms, players can use special Merchant units to travel Castle to Castle trading goods with allies.

All in All its a fun game that takes about 30 minutes to 90 minutes of actual involvement a week to post orders and talk to allies, if you want to join just register don't worry about reading the rules just yet they are lengthy, but alot of it pertains to Creating Units and Heroes which is done once than never looked at until next game., I am Voltek on the site pm me for help if you need it. after you register go to kingdom registration and register as a Kingdom or Hero, if you want to play. To Register the button will be top right middle thats to get a Username on the site. To literally Register as a Kingdom is here http://z6.invisionfree.com/Castles/index.php?showtopic=2543&st=0

Thanks for reading and enjoy Castles, (or not if you think its lame lol )

Below is the map of the location we will be this time around.

A Plea to all Kingdoms and Heroes, I King Rolf of Lancaster have an urgent request. My sister Queen Fiona of Lancaster wife to The King of Talendor Mindin of whom I hold in high esteem, but the recent trespass may change my view She has been taken by presumed enemies of the Kingdom of Talendor or perhaps foes of my own Lancaster. My Kingdom plunged in civil war with the princes of the noblemen my Father once united each thinking their own self deserving of the Crown presses me to not be able to send adequate forces to save my sister. However Kingdoms already have shown interest in claiming the torn lands south of Talendor, Renascent for their own may be able to find her as Talendor scouts have tracked the villains responsible to that area. Talendor is besieged by the eastern Kingdom of Grey Fork and the small united Provinces of Southern Renascent or Kell by the Barbaric Tongue. Talendor was attempting to give the Queen safe passage away from the Capitol which now is under siege, when she was taken.

You know each know the background of what has happened I will pay 500 Gold Pieces to anyone who returns my beloved sister alive. If she is dead we will also pay a sum, but I will not let myself believe that it is to much to bear. Please Lancaster humbly ask the aid of any who will give it. We do not care the means in which you accomplish this as long as she is safe. I sail now to Renascent with my Red Guard we will search aswell.

Signed
King Rolf Kloitz of Lancaster

The Game has just opened up Registration, dont be scared that many have registered as kingdoms, because it is a lottery system of who gets to play as one of the 12 kingdoms so everyone has a chance. Also if you do not play as a Kingdom or do not wish to there are options to play as a Hero for a Kingdom or as an independent Mercenary group that can be hired or just scourge the land and pillage kingdoms territories.

Topic 0: Quick Start Guide: This is just an overview of the game.

This link takes you to the Game of Castles in which 12 Kingdoms vie for Domination on the continent of midgar. You get to design your own units, and you may play as a Kingdoms leader, or a Hero that works for a Kingdom that some one else runs

Hi folks,

I'd like to introduce you to our Warhammer PC Gaming On-line Campaign site:

We're a friendly community that enjoys gaming on-line together, having fun, and participating in multi-week campaigns. Our current focus is Mark of Chaos: Battle March, which we’ve developed rules for to address the imbalances and problems in the base game. We have plans for expanding into Dawn of War II and Blood Bowl.

We're starting our 7th campaign at the end of this month, so drop by and check us out. You may want to join up! :)

I have been asked by a friend to spread the word, so here is a forum for a Rugby Union history society. They are looking to build up an online resource of the sports history from its foundation through to the current day.

Its only just starting out and is very small at the moment, but with more members, and more people spreading the word, it will hopefully grow and improve. So please if your even mildly interestd in rugby then check it out. Thanks.

Sorry for the mistake, earlier... I should have looked harder for board standards before posting my topic.

Anyway:

http://skirmisher.net

This is going to be a battle reporting tool, and I'd love to get feedback on what features are most important to be developed. Thanks!

A turn based strategy/role playing game. World of Arl has been going for several years and was originally played by warhammer players. If you're a fan of the warhammer campaigns then you will probably really like this. Each team is a nation and with it you do stuff, I say stuff because it's pretty freeform with such popular actions including assassination, invasion, sabotage, exploration, diplomacy and more. It's been so popular it's spawned a host of similar games.

Each team can have more than one player and you are more than welcome to bring friends and either play in one team or in several teams, it's quite possible to all ally with each other.

If you've any questions then feel free to contact me via IM.

A site started by my local gaming group and I in Connecticut, USA. It is nominally an OGame alliance site, but has since become our meeting ground for Warhammer. We have an online campaign running as well as blogs and many other discussions. It also has 40k and Flames of War. If there is anyone here from CT, or a bordering state it might be worth checking out. Also good for anybody on the planet who feels like joining a 14 ranked alliance in OGame (Uni24).

In the distant future, our world bears little resemblance to the one we know today. The forces of the fallen angel Lucifer, now known as Satan, launched a devastating war, creating a demonic apocalypse. Mankind was devastated, as the battle between higher powers reduced the Earth to a barren wasteland, and tore down the barriers seperating the planes of existence. Now, races from the survivors of mankind, to the animal-like aniven, the graceful angels, ruthless daemons, and mighty dragons battle battle over a decimated world. This battle brings you to a mighty city, the last in existence. This city holds the last of the civilised human population, but all races can be found within it's walls, both physical and mystical.

Welcome to the future...

Welcome to Nether!

Seriously, this is the most detailed and interesting RPG that I have ever laid my eyes upon, and it is truely a shame that, despite having 200 members, tey only have about 7-8 dedicated members. So I thought I would advertise here, so that those on the Under-Empire, who, like me, love their RPGs, can bring life to this great game once more.

http://z3.invisionfree.com/The_Nether/index.php?act=idx

In the vastness of the web, a new site stirs. Dedicated to all things Warhammer, from AoDs and RPGs, to tactics, painting and our own "WarRPGHammer", which is a method of playing warhammer on-line, and is simple, effective and free. However, despite all this, we lack one thing, a large number of dedicated members, as can be found here. So come, and help make our site a great place!

Come to the future of gaming...

Come to WarRPG!

Thank you,

-Killfang

In the distant future, the world has changed...
Portals to Hell have opened up around the world, plunging Earth into a war of unprecedented scale. Now, this is your chance to make a difference in this struggle. Create a character, be it an ordinary Human, a penitent demon, a servant of darkness, known simply as a demon, a human-angel hybrid known as a nephilim, or one of the majestic angels, and stake your claim to this war-torn world. Begin your journey on Earth, or in the bowels of Hell.

In this world, there is no mercy, and no respite. It is, literally, Hell!

Welcome traveller, welcome to Hellgate!

Thanks for reading ^_^

This is amazing.

http://www.codeorgan.com

Basically - You enter the HTML address of any page, and the website takes the background coding that goes into all that wonderful pictures, text and organization formats that many webmasters slave over for days, and converts it to a distinct musical loop using a synth device. Been playing with it for a while this afternoon since it's a quiet day at work, and it's very entertaining.

Ulthuan.net's song is a sweet little beat, can't help it, it got my head bobbin'!

Hi everyone,

(Hopefully posting in the right place this time)

Just wanted to let you all know about my site, the Wargames Tournament Website.

The aim of the site is pretty simple:- to help people find tournaments. The site covers a range of game systems, not just those of GW. At the moment most of the listings are for the UK and US although listings for further afield should be going up later this year once I've applied some updates to the site.

If you're a tournament organiser and would like your tournament listing you can send me a PM with the details via this forum or use the contact page on the site.

For those of you who haven't played it you should. It is pretty sweet and fun. It is a computer game in which you control a hero and play a 5v5 match where you try and kill an opponents base that is defended by towers and minions while protecting your own. Here is a link to it:

Can't resist to not post my youtube channel 8) :D

I am an expierienced League of Legends player, being ranked with with 2100+ elo on EU West server. I make a show that consists of thorough game analysis, nothing like those cheap tutorials of "how to play champion xyz" that are plenty around! This is the real deal, if you decide to venture into this youtube channel you actually might grab a piece of advice or two on how to boost your ranking.
