Wargaming Turns 100!

This was brought to my attention via Faeit:

Who knew that the great H.G.Wells first put pen to paper and made rules to go with little plastic (or back then, lead) men? I guess this is what got the hobby started and I thought it was pretty neat. If only our cannons and stuff were still spring loaded...

Would you really want your lavishly painted BSB having his head taken off as they describe in the article?

Good find though, I did not know HG Wells was the founder of wargaming. I can't say I'm surprised to find this discovery, with Wells other works.
