It is a horrid event for sure. I was on the MBTA (our trains) when it happened, I could have been close to the area if I was 1/2 hour later.

Someone I know was a block away when it happened. She said she felt the ground shaking. A number of my friends were in the city at the time and were quite nervous for the next couple of days.
