Best places to sell Warhammer

#1 Post by whatawittyname »

I was wondering whether Ebay was the best place to sell unwanted Warhammer, or whether people had experience with better mediums.

Is Ebay the way to go, or can anyone recommend somewhere else?

I've always done eBay or Craigslist in the past.

For future reference, this is Warhammer related and as such should go in the Warhammer Fantasy section. The guys in Off topic get so annoyed when there's anything related to Warhammer in their area of the forum.

I would always advertise on the respective army's forum first, and then sell what I can't move on ebay. It tends to be safer and easier.
For the dwarfs, there was only this. Hammerson met Grombrindal’s gaze, and the White Dwarf nodded slowly. If it must be done, let it be done well. Whether they were dead or alive, that was the only way dwarfs knew how to do anything.

And Grombrindal said "10 from the back, yeah?"

Sorry, I assumed buying and selling things would count as "off topic" as it's not about the army or playing the game. My mistake.

As to selling on the army's forum, that's a good idea. Thanks.

bartertown.com is also a good place to buy/sell/trade.

Don't worry about it. It's fine here.

I think it depends on what you have to sell. If you have some relatively rare, vintage models then the best place is probably army specific forums. There you tend to find people who know what you are selling and have a reasonable idea of what they're worth. If you are selling just standard rank and file models then ebay is probably a better bet.
