Runescape: Age?

Runescape.
I am an avid player of Runescape, and i got thinking about the actual audience of the game. It started out with the majority of players in the 16-25 bracket, but in recent times, it seems to have changed. A lot.

Tell me, do you play? When did you start playing? What age bracket you would consider yourself to be in?

By all means share your username, perhaps we can all have a meet up in game.

Hey Timmy, I played for a few years when I was in that age bracket, probably 18-21, so around 2000-2002 maybe? But then just sort of drifted away. I honestly didn't realise it was still a big thing, although I always enjoyed spending an hor or so mining, and the almost lego-like graphics and ridiculous costumes.

I used to play from time to time as well, didn't really play a lot the last years though. When I played it was during the timeframe 15-20 I think.

How did it change in your opinion, younger player base? Or more mature one (so no more a third of the players trying to scam using not very subtle tricks?)?

I played runescape from about 2004 to 2008. So the age of 11 or 12 until 15 .

Played it from 2004 'till 2007ish.. Although I still log on sometimes to participate in holiday events if they spark my interest. :3 (Not a member so the free-world has lost most of it's appeal)

Really interesting to get a wider view on the game.
I found that as it became more mainstream from 2006 onwards, thats when it lost its appeal slightly, but of course when things become mainstream thats when they forget about their roots a little. Guess im just stuck in my ways

But it's good to see you are still around at least on rare occasions. There are very very few names that I recognize during my couple of days I've been back on here.
