My debut as a Black Metal Vocalist...

#1 Post by NoOoDLe »

Yes, you just read that correctly.. I've done some extreme gothic/ black metal (Dimmu Borgir) in the past but only recently I decided to go for pure fucking black metal.

A while back I covered Freezing Moon, by Mayhem. And since I figured there are a lot of Black Metal fanatics on this site I would show it off for a bit.

*clickety click*

All vocals are live and done by moi (except for the backing track by Atilla)

I hope you enjoy it :)

Comments, feedback and hatemail are always welcome. But please don't go on about flaming what is and isn't black metal ;)

On the song itself: the intro is too long it feels and repeats its tune a bit too much, good for building an atmosphere I guess, but I just feels its too long. (not bad quality, just a bit too long).

I wish you luck with it all though, just not my taste in metal. I'd like to give more comments but 1) I'm not qualified to comment properly on that type of music. 2) I don't want to offend. (wich i'd likedly end up doing due to speaking on a matter i'm ignorant on).

Black Metal is awesome in a hilarious kind of way!

(incidentally, this features the bands listed on your YouTube link.)

The music itself isn't anything to do with Noodle, it's one of Mayhem's most popular/well known tracks.

Sounds good though. As role models go stylistically, Dead isn't a bad one. Do Funeral Fog next.

It lays the mood to the song, offcourse it has something to do with his song. Who wrote it is irrelevant to that, as is who plays it, the mood it provides prior to the vocals however, is not.
