It may be a silly question, but I think I've only played O&G once so that's my excuse. My question is, can you shoot at fanatics (obviously after they've been released)? I would have thought so, but they're part of the night goblin unit so... Well, I just want to confirm.

Yes. IIRC you take a -1 to hit or something. Best response to them is a walk between worlds into them. It destroys them as they hit a unit but you are ethereal so take no damage.

Thanks for clarifying that. I've just looked more closely at the rules and it says they become individual units, so you can shoot them, but they count as having soft cover.

Unfortunately I went for shadow on my archmage, so I'm going to have to rely on shooting.
