How does it work?
It came up in a game of Watchtower, I played a Frostheart and my opponent wonder why I didn't bring the fire to his daemons. So it got us talking and thinking.
Can you fly over a building and drop the flames? How does ranks work in buildings? If it is garrisoned by 20 models, do you just assume it has 3 ranks after the first or can the opponent claim it is a hoard with just one rank after the first?
Mostly curious what you guys think
Wake of Fire over buildings

Re: Wake of Fire over buildings
Agree with pk-ng, only d6 due no ranks for garrisoned building
One rule supports this idea allthough it technically is rule that is used when shooting at garrison unit page 127 of the BRB 8th
"Note that the garrison unit is considered to be too spread out to be affected normally by attacks that can affect multiple ranks, such as bolt throwers — shooting attacks of this nature will only hit one model."
