Who rolls spells first?

IIRC you should roll when you deploy the character. Therefore, whoever puts down characters first should roll for spells first.

Just checked and I am correct. See the 'Lores of Magic' reference section at the back of the BRB (I think this is page 90?). There is a bit at the bottom right about it.

Yeah neither have I and tbh it rarely matters unless you are looking to counter a specific spell with another i.e. earthblood with flaming sword or something.
