Okay, I've read over all the End Times magic stuff, but recently I browsed Dakka Dakka and I saw a statement, and I want people's viewpoints on it, as I'm afraid of running into it at games.
When a wizard casts or dispels they have to roll a D6 to see how many dice they are allowed to use. But this user stated that if you don't use a Wizard that then it doesn't apply, meaning Dwarves or the 'army' dispel allows you to just pick how many dice you want to use. Do other people subscribe to this viewpoint? Or is this a rogue interpretation?

Re: End Times Magic Question
The RAW seems to support this interpretation. Funny. Thats not how I'd play it though, I think, though the only faction to really benefit would be Dwarfs, who are seriously disadvantaged at this point in the End Times. So maybe it makes sense?

Re: End Times Magic Question
Other thing you could do if that is true, forgo the chance to dispel using one of your wizards if the opponent rolled a lot of dice on a nasty spell, then use as many as you want to dispel as an army! You lose the +bonus from your wizard but get to chose how many dice to throw. I actually really like that interpretation as it seems fairly balanced with regards to big nasty spells (other than ET spells which can't be dispelled).
