Swedish Comp Skycutter Flying Monster?

#1 Post by aquietfrog »

I don't know where else to ask about this.

Does the skycutter count as a flying monster when calculating for the swedish comp score?

Does the skycutter cause terror and use Thunderstomp under Swedish Comp? I'm not familiar with that system.

Swedish Comp doesn't change anything regarding the rules of the unit. So I would assume no. Just asking to be sure, because they considered great eagles as flying monsters only for the sake of calculating the comp score. The Skycutter wasn't mentioned in that particular item... but the roc pulling it seems kind of like an eagle anyway... so I was not sure.

I would go by the unit profile of the Skycutter. Pretty sure it's just a chariot. Great Eagles profile and rules are Fly and Monster. So kind of makes sense that Swede Comp sees GEs that way.

Aren't great eagles monstrous beasts? I suppose the swedish comp just lumped them together as a monster as it's pretty much used by itself.

Yeah. Perhaps. By the back of the army book they are Monstrous Beasts. Odd. Well by the back of the army book, Skycutters are chariots. I'd go with that.

Hi!

No skycutter does not count as monsters, the insciption "mounted great eagles" only refers to eagles with lord/hero on top, the chariot does not add in.
