WL Chariot - How you play it?

Im looking to confirm how many attacks the chariot gets.

If i charge, d6 S5 hits, 2 crew with 1 S6 attack each, 2 lions with 4 S5 attacks each?

Im looking to create a Chrace theme army, but need to make sure the points cost is enough to field these over regular, WL's

Yes, except the War Lions only get 2 attacks each.

if you run spears or are generally facing a combat that require magic buffing to tip the balance in your favor then you will be glad that you have them for a nice frontal corner charge if magic fails.

Just be sure never to charge them into anything if you cannot force them towards a sideclip with one of your infantry units at the same time, because the WL chariots are expensive and very fragile. You don't want too many return attacks. Once they find themselves neatly on the side of a combat, they will happily grind away and give you lots of combat res though.
