2000 pt 8th ed Chrace list for tomorrow

Hey all,

Here's my first 8th ed HE list that I plan on using tomorrow. Please tell me what you think of it:

Archmage- level 4, Folariath's Robes, Talisman of Saphery- 340
Noble- great weapon, Armour of Caledor, Amulet of Light- 128
Noble- BSB, great weapon, dragon armour, shield, Reaver Bow- 154
19 Lothern Seaguard- shields, full command- 272
19 Lothern Seaguard- shields, full command- 272
14 White Lions- standard, musician, Lion Banner- 253
5 Dragon Princes- banner, musician, Banner of Ellyrion- 220
Lion Chariot- 140
Repeater Bolt Thrower- 100
Repeater Bolt Thrower- 100
Great Eagle- 50

Total: 2029

Any thoughts? Also, any suggestions on how to lose those 30-odd points?

I would drop the eagle and round out the infantry. but then again, I am biased against eagles.

I think maybe switching your BSB to the noble that has the Armour of Caledor. Better protected that way. Dropping the eagle would be one way, but I say drop one RBT and pick up a second eagle to get those points down. Also may not need the musician on the DP's. Round up your Sea Guard with any extra.

I would ditch the eagle and dragon princes for another infantry elite unit like phoenix guard but thats just because I feel Infantry are the winners in 8th ed

what have eagles ever done to you?

Guess it's too late now to comment on the army but what the heck, I'll do it anyway. I'd give the BSB armour of calador if he's on foot and put the other noble with the dragon princes. I like to have my archmage killing stuff with another, lesser mage, supporting with a lore like metal (white lions with 1+ save against shooting anyone?). With this list I'd give the noble (now complete with horsey) radient gem of Hoeth while give the amulate to the champion. To save on points I recomend dropping a couple of seaguard, that or just not letting anyone look at the army book
