Anyone considered shadow armour on a lore master

#1 Post by Shadow star »

Has anyone tried using this item on the loremaster? I'm thinking of putting him in a unit of shadow warriors. Any ideas/thoughts?

Probably depends on how you play its rules I think. Do you allow the shadow armour to stack with regular heavy armour (for a 3+ AS)? Because then I can see its value. Otherwise I would think he would be to vulnerable with a 5+ save and at most a 4+ ward.

But if you allow it to stack then I can see some fun in it. I would probably go Shadow armour, obsidian amulet (for a decent magic resistance save), reaver bow and either powerstone or potion of strength.

Thanks for the suggestion. I run a nagarythe army so the idea of a scouting combat proficient wizard is enticing :P
