Jewel of dusk quick question.

The Jewel of dusk gives you one extra PD. However does this PD have to be used by the specific mage carrying it ? (guessing so since else people would PROBABLY use it more but you never know)

In my eyes its a bit unsure it says "the mage gets" doesnt specify whetever only he can use it or if it is generated to you "free" pool.

You have got it right, only the mage with the Jewel get to use an extra die.

if i remember correctly it says the BEARER gets an extra p.dice so... it's pretty obvious.

It's still a good item, the only problem is we have several to choose from.

I'd take BoS in preference; JoD would be more interesting if our magic allowance was larger and we could take at least two arcane items.
