Characters on chariots

#1 Post by Chracian »

I am considering running a BSB on a tiranoc chariot for a change and was wondering if anybody else had experience of this sort of thing. I have seen a list or two with a prince on a chariot, but would a BSB work? Thinking of dragon armour, great weapon, shield (for better save vs shooting) and maybe RoF or reaver bow.

Or possibly korhil on a lion chariot? I'm fairly sure his magic axe isn't a great weapon (just says requires 2 hands), so he should still get S6 attacks while mounted, which would be tasty.

Anyway, any advice in this area would be most appreciated.

Korhil on a chariot is fun, he is Stubborn 9 immune to fear. and breaks ranks. there is a lot he can do.

He is super-cool on the chariot and if special characters were allowed where I play, he'd be my general.

Korhil can hit pretty hard in lower points, and in higher points he's a great support unit since he makes his chariot US5, breaking ranks and immune to fear can really mess up a medium sized daemon/undead unit.

The BSB on a chariot could work too, my only concern is that the actual chariot is pretty fragile, as are all Tiranoc chariots.

As a guy who runs a chariot character I would agree with this.

You have to constantly be aware of what happens if the chariot goes down.

I tried it at 1500, the BSB keeps constantly finding himself without wheels, so I wonder if it's worth it?

On the other hand, transferring the TC to the Scroll Caddy might be more interesting.
